We are just 5 days out from Help-Portrait Baltimore 2013!! The past two weeks have been a blur and we’d like to catch you up and get you all the details you’ll need for Saturday!
A Quick Roundup of Happenings
Over the past two weeks we’ve focused on three things. Getting volunteers, raising support, and finding a third location. We were successful with two of our three goals. We’ve got a great group of volunteers and we blew through our fundraising goal. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and donated. It means a ton.
Unfortunately, we were unable to find a third location for the December 7th date. We’ve got some great conversations going, so we’re sure we’ll have some great opportunities for 2014! Stay Tuned!!
We’re in the final stretch! With so many new volunteers, we thought we’d give you a peek into what to expect during a day. Check it out!
For 2013, we have two locations.
- Men’s Progam: Helping Up Mission – We’ve posted the full details for the Helping Up Mission on the Help-Portrait Baltimore web site. If you have any questions, please reply to this email and we’ll answer them as quickly as we can.
- Women’s Program: House of Ruth – If you are volunteering at our Women’s program, you’ve received a separate email with details on the information we need from you. Make sure to reply with the necessary information no later than today. We’ll send out location, schedule, and other details on Wednesday. We can only send this information to those from whom we have received complete legal name and date of birth.
Gear to Bring
- Photographers – Camera, Memory Cards (make sure to mark your cards), Lenses, Flashes, Tripod, Backdrop and anything else you’d use to do a family portrait. Memory card readers are very handy as well. If you need power, extension cords and power strips can come in handy as well.
- Editors – Laptop with Adobe Lightroom and a Memory Card Reader if you have one.
That’s it for now! Have a great week and we can’t wait to see you on Saturday!
